ELO's and Student Work Information

An Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) mimics an internship as it is a temporary, unpaid position where a student is paired with a professional in order to gain practical experience in an occupation or profession. This course is designed for motivated students seeking career exposure in a specific field. You must meet with the ELO coordinator and your school counselor about placement and availability. Students will have scheduled meetings to review course progress. There are four required components: 1) reflection, 2) research, 3) product, and 4) presentation. Please contact our ELO Coordinator, Dr. Dawn Breault, for more information.”
